Jawaharlal was the only son of his prosperous parents. His sisters were much younger than Nehru. So, he grew up and spent his early days as a lonely child with no companion of his age. For his best education, private tutors were engaged by his father. Then he went to England and was educated at Harrow and at Trinity College, Cambridge.
